Since our opening we have had 1 goal in mind. To be # 1 in Sales in Washington State. Well we have achieved this as of August 31st. The team at the Hyundai of Kirkland store has taken care of the customers during the Cash For Clunkers like no other store by selling over 150 new Accent's, Elantra's and Sonata's. We also sold a few Gennesis Coupes and Sedans. The suv's like the Tuscon, Sante Fe also sold well here. With great selections, color choices and a friendly staff we really had a great month.

While other auto dealers are contracting, we are expanding.
Declining sales create local dealerships in the position to closed or sold, and more are expected to fall.
This week, Rainier Automotive Group sold its Eastside Hyundai now the "New Hyundai of Kirkland" and will be located 11706 124th Ave Ne right next to Ford of Kirkland.

"This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the consolidations," said Walen. "I think we're at the bottom of the market, but I don't think it's going to just rebound all of a sudden. We're going to have a slow recovery."
The way Chrysler and GM are changing the way dealer networks are set up, all I can say is, I'm proud to be a Internet sales Manager & Car Guy for the team here and hope to continue to grow with the company.
